Jason Steinberg, MBA, MES
Founder
Jason founded Carbon Foresight to help organizations measure & manage carbon emissions and develop opportunities for sustainable business. Jason’s areas of expertise include greenhouse gas emissions calculations & benchmarking, sustainability reporting, Enterprise Carbon Management implementations, and climate change training & speaking engagements.
Previously, Jason was the Director of Client Services at Zerofootprint, where he managed a portfolio of customers to measure & manage their carbon footprint and engage staff in combating climate change. Jason has consulted for the United Nations Development Program and the United Nations' Partnerships for Sustainable Development. Jason also brings over 10 years of business, software, and project management experience from leading technology firms such as SAP, Workbrain, Amgen, and Epicor. Jason holds a Master's degree in Environmental Studies from York University and an MBA from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
Andrea Lukac, MES Candidate
Sustainability Consultant
Andrea has an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Environment and Human Society from the University of Toronto and is currently pursing a Masters degree in Environmental Studies at York University. Andrea has five years of experience working on sustainability issues on university campuses, student and public engagement and project management. Her current body of research is focusing on carbon management at York University and identifying the strategies available to York for carbon neutrality.
Laur Fisher, BA
Sustainability Consultant
Laur’s focus is on the human element of sustainability: engaging and empowering stakeholders to fulfill their vision for the future.Through interactive workshops, facilitated meetings, and program management, she uses her training in The Natural Step framework to create consensus, establish targets and launch meaningful action. Her management and facilitation work has led her to complete projects internationally, including Sweden, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States. Laur has six years of experience in sustainable businesses and municipalities, with concentrations in waste reduction and management, green building & urban planning. She holds a self-designed Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability from Tufts University in Boston, MA.
